This collection is inspired by my Irish heritage, traditional Irish craft, and my love of fetish wear. It’s a celebration of my homeland’s rich artisanal history, reimagined through a provocative lens. Religion has deeply influenced Irish life, and I was compelled to introduce fetishistic elements into traditional Irish craft as a way of challenging inherited ideas of shame and restraint. My work merges these bold elements with native Irish materials such as wool and wicker.

My wicker pieces are made from scavenged Irish birch, buff noir willow, moss, larch, and ash. Each branch is handwoven into sculptural forms that reference traditional Irish wicker baskets. I used these ancient techniques to create something unexpected and subversive- a contemporary fetish reinterpretation of the chastity belt realised in my wicker chastity cage dress.

The collection’s colour palette is rooted in Ireland’s natural beauty: earthy browns, muted greens, glossy blacks, and warm tones of beige, cream, and yellow. Inspired by bones found during walks in Wicklow, my accessories fuse spiked wood and delicately woven willow.

By combining latex, leather, PVC, branches, and traditional wool, I’ve created garments that honour cultural forms while also challenging them. This collection is a sensual yet respectful tribute to my Irish identity - one that celebrates and interrogates Ireland’s layered heritage.

Silhouettes are drawn from historical imagery of women in headscarves, oversized capes, and voluminous skirts. I contrast these larger, traditional forms with fitted, fetish-inspired pieces, merging history with contemporary desire.
