Moments shaped not by arrival, but by what happens in between. This collection is a study of effortless disorder — transforming the undone, oversized and unintentional into a modern form of elegance.
The female figures and visual language behind the work emerge from observations of women in motion on the street. It captures moments that feel unfinished yet deeply certain: skirts lifted by the wind while walking, oversized coats worn long enough to pill and age, cropped trousers, broken heels, exposed linings and worn recycled leather. The garments are shaped through imbalance, movement and self-adjustment rather than perfection.
Here, dressing exists without performance — where imperfection becomes instinctive, relaxed and quietly powerful.
Leqi Zeng is a London-based womenswear designer and a First Class BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate from the University of Westminster. Her practice explores contemporary femininity through careful observation of everyday life, translating movement, gesture and emotion into refined womenswear. Interested in the relationship between the body and clothing, she creates garments that evolve through wear, instinct and personal expression. Combining draping, material experimentation and thoughtful craftsmanship, Leqi creates contemporary womenswear that balances softness with structure, celebrating authenticity and the quiet confidence found in everyday dressing.
