Portrait of a Nation is a six-minute, seven-second interactive video installation that combines animation and voice recordings to capture the diverse opinions of people from Baker Street, Kensington, Shoreditch, and Hackney. The project aims to create an immersive experience that encourages open dialogue and critical reflection on the state of Britain. It addresses themes such as Brexit, immigration, crime, police misconduct, mental health, and societal divisions, challenging viewers to critically reflect on their perceptions and engage in conversations about the nation’s future. The main goal is to facilitate open conversations, encouraging viewers to explore and discuss contemporary Britain's complex socio-political issues.
